Vieselmeyer, Talavera earn all-conference

Following Holyoke’s appearance at the state volleyball tournament last week, the all-conference list was announced for the Lower Platte Activities Association.

Holyoke’s Kristin Vieselmeyer and Elyce Talavera, both seniors, were named to the list.

Other area players earning the post-season honor were Quincy Basler of Akron; Allie Thompson, K’Lyn Bornhoft and Taylor Schram of Haxtun; Makenna Sutter, Taysa Conger and Amanda Thorpe of Merino; Alison Woodhams, Gabrielle Powell, Jensen Renquist and Kierra Ehnes of Sedgwick County; Avery Burdette and Rachael White of Wiggins; and Elle Roth of Yuma.

Honorable mention went to Ella Coffin of Haxtun, Brooklyn Sutter of Merino, Lexi McCullough of Wiggins and Karly Godsey of Wray.

Kristin Vieselmeyer was also invited to play in an all-state game for senior volleyball players this Sunday morning, Nov. 21, at Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins. Coach Michelle Vieselmeyer was selected to be a coach at the all-state games.
