Experience guides girls swim team this season
With 10 returning letterwinners on the girls swim team this season, much experience from previous years is guiding the way.
Returning letterwinners include seniors Josie Schlachter and Eva Kramer; juniors Summer Martin, Erin Andersen, Aly Lock, Destanie Engle and Aliyah Engle; and sophomores Tayla Martin and Adi Goldenstein.
Other team members are senior Correy Koellner, junior Linda Esser, and sophomores Charlotte Kramer and Elly Brown.
Schlachter, Tayla Martin and Summer Martin all have experience swimming in state competition.
Coach Emily Krogmeier said, “It’s incredible to watch the girls who have been swimming for years cheer on those who are new to the sport.”
