2 earn all-state VB honors

On the heels of a state runner-up title, two Lady Dragon volleyball players have received all-state honors, which were presented by CHSAANow.com, ColoradoPreps.com and MaxPreps. The teams were created following a lengthy process that included nominations from leagues and then a vote of coaches.

Senior Kristin Vieselmeyer was named to the all-state first team, and senior Elyce Talavera was recognized with honorable mention.

The 2A player of the year was Alison Woodhams, and the coach of the year was Alissa Renquist, both of Sedgwick County.
