LOCATION: Clearwater, Florida

HIGHLIGHTS: Florida’s Clearwater Beach stretches 2.5 miles along the barrier island shore and is ranked among the top beaches in the U.S. and seventh in the world for its pure white sand and warm water. The Daniels saw dolphins swimming right along the coast of their hotel. They went to the Clearwater Marine, home of the famous Winter from “Dolphin Tale.” The family also ate grouper fish at many of the amazing restaurants on the beach and walked out onto the historic Pier 60. It was sunny and 70 F for the entire trip. The Daniels highly recommend staying at the Holiday Inn & Suites. It has the largest oceanfront deck in Clearwater and its own restaurant where kids eat every meal for free, and the hotel is in a U shape, which protects the pool deck perfectly from the wind, so it was the perfect conditions for playing in the pool. They said they had a blast and definitely plan to go back!
