Celebrate the world! Celebrate you!

Heginbotham Library kicked off summer with its “Celebrate the world! Celebrate you!” summer reading program for kids age 2-10 and teens age 11-17. Registration for the kids June 7 included parachute games and tag, plus homemade ice cream sandwiches. The teens registered June 9, and they spray-painted mandala stencils on small flags. Everyone joined in making candy sushi while they waited for their flags to dry before personalizing them. The kids meet every Tuesday and the teens meet every Thursday through the end of June.
