Blake Anthony Krueger, 32
Blake Anthony Krueger, 32, of Sterling passed away October 7, 2024. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 18th at 10:30 a.m. at Tennant Funeral Home.
Blake was born May 14, 1992 in Haxtun, CO to Forrest Benge and Melissa Krueger. Growing up, Blake lived in Amherst, Colorado on his Grandpa Krueger’s farm until moving to Sterling, Colorado. He was a graduate of Sterling High School with the class of 2011. While in high school, he met the love of his life Danielle Petarde and they were married on May 27th, 2017. After he graduated from High School, he worked for Industrial Welding for 10 years. He then went to work in the oilfield industry working for Nextier and most recently Surefire.
Blake and Danielle built a beautiful life together and welcomed their baby girl Madison into the world on January 13th, 2022. He was an amazing husband and father. Blake loved any outdoor activity, playing video games with his friends and family, and watching anime. Blake was a jokester, he always had a smile on his face and he loved to make people laugh. He was always there to help anyone with a project, even a stranger. Most of all he loved traveling with his little family. Blake was one of a kind and will be deeply missed.
Blake is survived by his wife Danielle of Sterling, daughter Madison, mother Melissa Rose of Colorado Springs, father Forrest Benge (Amber) of Alliance, NE, sisters Cadie Warner of Rapid City, SD, and Hailey Warner of Colorado Springs, brothers Austen Warner of Rapid City, SD, Tanner Benge (Ashley) of Minden, NE, and Trevor Benge (Brittany) of Axtell, NE, grandma Joyce Cook-Krueger of Vancouver, WA, grandpa, Danny “Boone” Andrews of Sterling, father-in-law Mark Petarde of Sterling, mother-in-law Sherry Petarde of Sterling, sister-in-law Heather Petarde of Sterling, sister-in-law Julianne Petarde of Sterling, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his great grandpa Russell Krueger, great grandma Donna Krueger, grandma Janet Andrews, grandpa Brian Krueger, and grandpa Gary Benge.
