Bob Timm

    Robert “Bob”William Timm was born May 9, 1945, to William “Bill” Karl Timm and Francis Marie (Farmer) Timm in Brighton. He died Oct. 28, 2018, at his home. He was 73 years of age.
    Bob attended Brighton schools and graduated with the class of 1963. On June 3, 1966, he married the love of his life, Pamela Kaye Arnold.
    In 1970, Bob moved his family to northeast Colorado, where he bought his first farmstead. He worked for local farmers while tending to his own farm. He was a very hard worker; no job was taken lightly. He spent the last 13 years hauling fuel for Scholl Oil.
    Bob served on the Holyoke Co-op board and served as a 4-H leader for many years. Some of his favorite pastimes were collecting antiques and going gambling. He faithfully followed all of his kids’ and grandkids’ activities. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob grew up in a household being the only boy with five sisters. All of his grandkids knew him as their “Papa.”
    Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Lou Draper; parents, Bill and Francis Timm; sisters, Dorothy Ann Rowe and Willma Promes and husband George; sisters-in-law, Mary Arnold, Stella Meints and Marie Beckette; brother-in-law, Claude Arnold; and nieces, Terry Wilson and Beverly Malloy.
    Bob is survived by his wife, Pam Timm of Ovid; son, Tom Timm and wife Tammie of Haxtun; daughter, Tracy Simpson and husband Thom of Holyoke; son-in-law, Neal Draper of Ford, Kansas; granddaughters, Vanessa Tharp and husband Austin of Ovid, Victoria Dunker and husband Chase of Holyoke, Kendra Frank and husband Dustin of Chappell, Nebraska, and Megan Zerr and husband Tim of Colby, Kansas; grandsons, Kody Timm of Ovid, Tristen and Theron Roll of Holyoke, Chance Draper of Ford and Braden Draper of Hays, Kansas; great-granddaughters, Callie and Lacey Tharp of Ovid and Claudia and Clara Zerr of Colby; sisters, Helen Wilson and husband Bob of Lakewood, Edna Egan and husband Art of Brighton, and Cathy Rose and husband Jim of Windsor; sisters-in-law, Pearl Whitman of Fort Lupton and Shirley Graybill and husband Bill of Keenesburg; brothers-in-law, Larry Arnold and wife Sharon of Brighton, Daryl Arnold of Keenesburg and Kenneth Rowe of Ogden, Utah; and many nieces and nephews.
    The memorial service was held Nov. 2 at the Haxtun Methodist Church, with Pastor Jeri Soens officiating.
    Memorials can be made to the Bob Timm Memorial.
    Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
