Darrell Harvey - death notice

    Darrell William Harvey, 80, died Sept. 15, 2018, at Citizens Medical Center in Colby, Kansas. He was born Nov. 21, 1937, in Milford, Nebraska. He was in the orphanage in Lincoln, Nebraska, until he was 4 years old. He was adopted by Henry and Clara Harvey of Champion, Nebraska, in December 1941.
    He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
    He is survived by his wife, Judith J. (Bond) Harvey; one brother, Charles Harvey and wife Caryl; two daughters, Ronda Bierman and husband Danny and Tona Holly and husband Wayne; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Harry Looney and wife Evelyn and Gordon Bond and wife Bonnie; and several nieces and nephews.
    There will be no visitation as cremation was chosen. A memorial service was scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 20, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 615 W. Webster, Colby, KS, with inurnment following the service at Beulah Cemetery in Colby.
