Elsie Mae (Maine) Fisbeck was born April 27, 1934, to Lester and Elsie Margaret (Dottie) Maine in Burchard, Nebraska. She died Dec. 29, 2020, in Holyoke.

Elsie had one brother and two sisters. In her younger years she grew up and went to school in Venango, Nebraska, later moving with her family to Haxtun, where she graduated from high school.

Elsie was a wonderful mother who enjoyed caring for her family, giving special attention to each and every one. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved sewing and her special handwork, which was beautifully done, and sharing it with the special family and friends in her life.

She enjoyed helping with the Phillips County elections for many years, serving at the town hall in Paoli. One of her passions was bowling, which she truly loved. She had a lot of friends who were very dear to her.
