Estella Pell

Estella Pell was born Jan. 20, 1971, to Salvador H. Alcantar and Angelita Alcaraz in Lancaster, California. She died May 20, 2022, after losing her battle to cancer, at her home in Holyoke, surrounded by her family.

Estella married David Christopher Pell in Snowflake, Arizona, on Nov. 19, 1994.

Estella graduated from Snowflake High School and got her associate degree in education from Northern Pioneer College. She worked at the elementary school cafeteria and as the manager at the Family Dollar Store.

Estella was big into crocheting, quilting and canning. She enjoyed going on the road in the truck with her husband, David. She enjoyed watching her soap operas. Her favorite pastime, however, was to spend time with her husband, kids and grandkids.

Estella was preceded in death by her father, Salvador Alcantar; niece, Sabrina Vega; brother-in-law, Richard Pell; sister-in-law, Janet Earl; and best friend, Linda Dizmang.

Estella is survived by her husband, David Pell; children, Jessica and husband Joshua Rowe, Christopher Pell, Mariah Pell, Michael Pell and Dakota Pell; three granddaughters, Haylie, Emilia and Roselyn Rowe; mother, Angelita; four older sisters, Teri, Sylivia, Angie and Dolores; and younger brothers, Sal and Maros Alcantar.

The memorial service was held June 6 at Baucke Funeral Chapel in Holyoke.
