Katee Jo Barreras, 33, of Greeley, died peacefully Sept. 15, 2020, at North Colorado Medical Center. She was the granddaughter of Daniel and Judi Deusterman of Holyoke.

She was born May 10, 1987, in Lubbock, Texas, to Darrin Lewis and Kimberli Sue (Stanley) Clock. She was a graduate of Douglas County High School and went on to attend Arapahoe Community College and the University of Northern Colorado.

On June 5, 2009, she married the love of her life, Joshua Barreras. She also started several small businesses, the greatest of which was Red Crow Bakery. Through this business she sold her homemade baked goods at the Greeley Farmers Market for the past five-plus years.

Katee was passionate about her faith and shared it with anyone she could and by teaching Sunday school at Calvary Chapel in Greeley, where she was a member. Her hobbies and talents seemed endless. Most notably she enjoyed working in crochet, applique, beading, henna, playing guitar and singing. Her greatest joy was being a mother, teaching and raising her three beautiful children.

Katee had a selfless heart and spent her life serving others. Katee had such a large personality, which she used to share happiness and joy wherever she went. She touched so many lives through the church, home-school groups, farmers market and her simple everyday interaction with people. She will be forever missed.

She is survived by her husband, Joshua Barreras; her mother, Kimberli Sue Clock; her sons, Jack Ryan and Huckleberry Wayne Barreras; her daughter, Charliemae Violet Barreras; and her sister, Ami Ann Dermer.

She was preceded in death by her father, Darrin Lewis Clock.

A celebration of Kateeā€™s life was held Sept. 22 at Calvary Chapel Church in Greeley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Chapel Greeley.
