Linda Austin

Linda Lee (Ingwersen) Austin, age 75, of Louisville, Nebraska, was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and elementary school teacher. She died and departed this world from her home in Louisville on Dec. 4, 2021, surrounded by family and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Linda was born Sept. 14, 1946, in Ogallala, Nebraska, to John and Lorene (Hagemann) Ingwersen. She attended elementary and high school in Julesburg, graduating in 1964.
She was confirmed in the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Julesburg.
On Jan. 3, 1965, she married Keith Austin at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Julesburg.
She had many interests that she pursued: exploring state parks, sightseeing, camping, gardening, cooking, baking, hosting friends and family, tea parties and entertaining her granddaughters. She was an avid walker and outdoor enthusiast and loved her years as an elementary school teacher and Bible study fellowships. All were precious to her and provided great joy in her life.
Linda is survived by her husband, Keith Austin of Louisville; daughter, Tami Austin of Broomfield; son, Paul and wife Betsy of Gretna, Nebraska; granddaughters, Meagan, Sarah and Katheryn Austin of Gretna; and sisters, Donna Voelinger and Carol and Jerry Goto.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lorene (Hagemann) Ingwersen; in-laws, Leland and Bertha (Alderman) Austin; and siblings, Velma, Dennis and Rick Ingwersen.
Private family interment will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Julesburg at a later date.
