Louis Warren

     Louis P. Warren died at home in Holyoke on Oct. 15, 2017, after a long illness. He was born March 29, 1958. He had a strong association in Phillips and Yuma counties from the time he was 3 years old at the former VC Ranch, later the Warren Cattle Company.
     He graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1980 with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology. He held various jobs in Arizona and Washington state before returning to manage the family property in the years prior to its sale.
     His deep love for golf developed over that period, and he joined Ballyneal later in his life as a caddie. He was able to continue to play at the local community golf course until two days before his death.
     He is survived by his wife, Karen Jo Jorgensen; father, Dake F. Warren; mother, Peg Reed; brothers, Dake T. and Clay; sister, Beth Madaris; and large families in Denver, Washington and Arizona.
     A celebration of life is planned in Denver March 24, 2018.
