Patricia Lee (Williams) Johnson died Nov. 26, 2021, in Tucson, Arizona. She was born in Holyoke on Oct. 14, 1941, to Wayne and Mary Belle (Anderson) Williams.

She attended Holyoke schools and graduated from Holyoke High School in 1959. Patricia then attended Central Business College in Denver and graduated from there with awards in typing, shorthand and bookkeeping.

She worked for Martin Marietta until she met and married her first husband, George Olson, in 1961, and they moved to Poughkeepsie, New York, and then later to Boulder. Two sons were born to this marriage: Christopher George Olson and Gregory James Olson.

She and George later parted ways, and she moved to Denver, where she devoted her time to her sons and working from home doing typing and transcription.

In 1973, she met and married the love of her life, Donald L. Johnson. Together they raised their blended family of five children in Denver. Pat worked for Equifax for several years and then for Rocky Flats until she retired.

Pat and Don enjoyed several years after retiring “full-timing” in their Montana fifth-wheel travel trailer, traveling across the United States and up into Canada visiting family and friends. They finally settled in Tucson, where they purchased a home in a nice 50-plus community where they enjoyed the desert and mountains surrounding the Tucson area. Pat loved to crochet and quilt.

Pat is survived by her husband, Donald; son, Christopher Olson of Huntsville, Alabama; stepchildren, Daniel L. Johnson and Lana of Denver, Debra Beyer and Bob of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Deanna Johnson of Sedro Woolley, Washington; grandchildren, Matt Beyer, Jennifer Beyer, Shannon McLeod and Daniel R. Johnson; great-grandchildren, Cassandra and Hailey Johnson; sister, Jane (Williams) Taylor; brother-in-law, Terry Taylor; nieces, Tamara Taylor and Nicola Taylor; nephew, Alan Johnson; several grand-nieces and -nephews; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph and Hazel Anderson and Earl and Verna Williams; her parents, Wayne and Mary Belle (Anderson) Williams; and son, Gregory Olson.

Per her request, she was cremated and there will be a private family memorial in Tucson this spring.
