Royce Harmon

Royce Colleen (Kimble) Harmon died and left this world for her heavenly home at age 87 on Aug. 29, 2021. She was born in Imperial, Nebraska, on Aug. 9, 1934, to Lloyd and Vesta Kimble.

She attended school in Imperial. She worked with her Grandmother Rhodes as a switchboard operator and while in high school was a flag twirler.

She met Ronald Gene Harmon in school, and on May 2, 1954, Royce and Gene were married. They made their home in Holyoke and raised three children. Royce worked as Gene’s bookkeeper for his businesses.

Royce is survived by her husband, Gene of Holyoke; daughter, Kathleen and husband Bart Harlen of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; sons, Michael and wife Donette Harmon of Wray and Thomas Harmon of Manhattan, Kansas; brothers, Rick and Larry Kimble of Nebraska; sister-in-law, Bonnie Smith of Holyoke; brother-in-law, Lester Harmon of Imperial; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Cremation was chosen.
