The average person will spend 26 years of their life sleeping. Yes, you read that correctly. 26 years. But that’s not the only surprising number. The average person will also spend seven years of their life attempting to fall or return to sleep! 

Sleep quality is one of the largest factors impacting overall health and is one of the most common complaints heard by primary care physicians. Whether it’s stress related, chronic pain, or challenging work schedules, lacking the quantity and quality of sleep needed contributes to medical problems such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, mood disorders and immune deficiencies. Difficulties with concentration due to insomnia results in poor work performance and poor decision making and increases the risk of serious accidents.
