Trust is the foundation, and you can absolutely trust him with your life

Trust: it’s the foundation for every good relationship. It’s the foundation for marriage, in work, business, friendship and more.

The crazy thing as I grow older in my relationship with Jesus, I found myself having more difficulty trusting Him with my future. Life can be hard. Burdens can be heavy. There’s so much unknown in our world today. I often ask: Lord, will you really take care of me and my family? Will you really fulfill my dreams and God-given purposes for my life? Will you provide my children with exactly what they need as they grow up? The worry chapter in Matthew is often on my mind.

Trusting and living by faith in what we can’t see isn’t always easy. But just as we long for our children to trust us in the daily matters of life and to trust us when we say “no” or “yes” or “wait!” God desires this same level of dependence from us.
