‘A’ is for Ambulance

Hands-on learning prepares students for kindergarten

    Complete with flashing lights and some nifty tools to listen to a heartbeat, Holyoke EMS’s newest ambulance visited Dragon’s Wagon Preschool during the final week of the kids’ summer program.
    Sheila Robinson showed the inside and outside of the ambulance to six students, two teachers and one summer volunteer June 24. They checked their heart rates, listened to them beat and even tried out the stretcher. Though some started out on the timid side, the students were quickly reassured by Robinson.
