3 students place in math/science contest

Three Holyoke students earned second-place finishes at Northeastern Junior College’s annual math/science contest April 16 and are pictured from left, Kyra Loutensock, Johny Quintana and Baylor Struckmeyer. Loutensock placed in senior math, and Quintana and Struckmeyer tied in ninth grade critical thinking. Holyoke sent 28 high schoolers and 14 junior high students to compete in the contest.
