6th grade poster places

    Lions Club International hosts an annual peace poster contest each year for youth ages 11-13 to create a poster that represents peace.
    Holyoke Lions Club recognized sixth grader Michelle Espinal Peña as the winner of the local contest last October. Since then, her poster was entered into the district competition, where she earned third place.
    On April 17, a representative from the local club presented Espinal Peña a check at Holyoke Elementary School for her prize.
