Ballyneal Foundation names 2020 scholarship winners

In its second year of operation, Ballyneal Foundation is pleased to announce that five new scholarships have been awarded and two awardees from last year have had their scholarships renewed.

New awardees include Dominique Penzing, who works in food and beverage; Emily Trejo, golf shop; Mason King, caddie; and Michael Ramos and Remington Hielscher, golf course maintenance.

Scholarship renewals were earned by Katie Gibson in food and beverage, as well as caddie Brenna Sullivan who is also an Evans Scholar.

In seeking donations from members, Ballyneal Foundation chairman John Curlander cited the foundation’s goal to give back to the community that has done so much to help the club to be successful. Awarding scholarships is one example of the foundation’s efforts to contribute to worthwhile community causes.
