Chaney is NJC grad

Emily Chaney of Holyoke earned her associate of science degree, graduating magna cum laude from Northeastern Junior College in Sterling May 30.

Honors from her college career included the Charles F. Poole award. Chaney plans to attend Colorado State University in Fort Collins, majoring in zoology.

She is a high school graduate of Colorado Preparatory Academy and is the daughter of Dale and Stephanie Chaney of Holyoke.
