Making it onto the 2018-19 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes list was Megan Vieselmeyer, who plays basketball at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. A total of 312 women’s basketball student-athletes across the nation were named to the list by National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.
Vieselmeyer is a 2015 graduate of Holyoke High School and is the daughter of Erik and Michelle Vieselmeyer. She is studying exercise science at Concordia.
