Community invited to internet safety presentation

Community members are invited to Holyoke School District’s presentation “Safety in the Age of Social Media — Am I the Only One Losing My Mind?” Thursday, Oct. 10, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Holyoke High School.

Margaret M. Ochoa, J.D., child sexual abuse prevention specialist from the School Safety Resource Center, will discuss online safety and sexting prevention as well as an overview of the change in the law and consequenses that can arise from the behavior.

Students in grades 4-12 are encouraged to attend with their parents. Free child care is also provided.
