FBLA walk-a-thon to raise funds for Lions food booth

Holyoke Junior High School FBLA students Teagan Martin, Rorey Schneller and Hudson Koellner are organizing a walk-a-thon as a community service project to raise money for the renovation of the Lions Club food booth at Phillips County Fairgrounds.

The walk-a-thon is set for Saturday, Feb. 19, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Holyoke JR/SR High School. Doors will open at 8 a.m., and water and snacks will be provided.

Students and community members are encouraged to participate, and those who sign up to walk will be looking for pledges for each hour of walking. The team hopes to raise $2,000-$3,000.
