FCCLA hosts fall conference

Holyoke FCCLA members hosted the Northeastern Plains District Fall Conference at Phillips County Event Center on Wednesday, Oct. 20.

A total of about 285 students attended from Holyoke, Fort Morgan, Akron, Otis, Yuma, Wray, Merino and Haxtun.

The first half of the morning was spent at the event center discussing the eight FCCLA national programs.

Eight different speakers explained each of the programs. Career Connection, Community Service, FACTS (Families Acting for Community Traffic Safety), Families First, Financial Fitness, Power of One, Stand Up and Student Body.
