FFA qualifies 6 for state competition

The district FFA Leadership Development Event contest was held Feb. 10 in Ovid, and the Holyoke High School chapter had the maximum number of students competing. HHS had two teams in each of the following categories: parliamentary procedure, extemporaneous speaking, prepared speaking, creed speaking and quiz bowl.

Students that participated were:

— Parliamentary procedure A: Max Kleve, Haley Van Overbeke, Kristin Vieselmeyer, Josie Schlachter, Janessa Lutze and Lauren Herman.

— Parliamentary procedure B: Baylor Struckmeyer, Rylee Schneller, Ethan Schneller, Jimena Nuñez, Tamara Penzing and Clover Adler.
