Holyoke Elem. celebrates Read Across America
Students and teachers at Holyoke Elementary had some fun and took the week to focus on reading, Feb. 28-March 3, for the national Read Across America campaign.
Melissa Memorial Hospital and Family Practice of Holyoke got involved, with several individuals volunteering to read to students. CEO Trampas Hutches kicked off the week by reading “Oh the Places You’ll Go!” by Dr. Seuss to the entire school Tuesday morning. Students sported funny hats and hair as a tribute to the Cat in the Hat.
