HS team wins regional knowledge bowl

A team of three Holyoke High School sophomores placed first in the 2A division of the regional knowledge bowl at Valley High School Monday, Feb. 10. Team members are Kailar Hayes, Johny Quintana and Diego Jimenez.

Highland finished in second place, followed by Wray in third. Holyoke will advance to the state championship tournament March 16-17 at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
