Junior highers compete in science fair

Holyoke seventh and eighth grade students competed against their classmates in a new science fair event at the JR/SR high school Monday, Feb. 14.

The projects included display boards and a presentation in front of judges Mike Brown, Jes-c French and Logan Hines.

Winning seventh grade projects were completed by Obed Bencomo Juarez, first; the team of Kaden Herman, Ricardo Goytia Juarez and Brody Smith, second; and the team of Sujey Bustillos, Daniela Castillo Marquez and Rubi Bencomo Dominguez, third.

The top three eighth grade projects were presented by the team of Courtlyn Kinnie and Isabelle Kropp, first; the team of Colby Weber and Cozner Deaver Ring, second; and the team of Anessa Colglazier and Kylee Smith, third.
