Kramer earns master’s in executive nursing

Julianne Kramer, director of nursing at Melissa Memorial Hospital in Holyoke, graduated May 1 with her master’s degree in executive nursing from Nebraska Methodist College of Nursing in Omaha, Nebraska.

She graduated with a 3.958 GPA and as a member of Sigma Theta Tau honor society.

After graduating from Ogallala (Nebraska) High School in 2004, Kramer completed her prerequisites in nursing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, then obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing in 2009.

Her career started at Sedgwick County Hospital in Julesburg from 2010-2013. During that time, she was also working at MMH and Chase County Community Hospital in Imperial, Nebraska, picking up shifts as a PRN (per diem) nurse.

She started full time at MMH at the end of 2013 as a clinical nurse manager and transitioned into the director of nursing position in 2016.

Julianne married Chance Kramer in 2010, and they have four daughters.
