Nelson and Porter sign with John Deere scholarship program

Holyoke High School seniors Brendan Nelson and Kayden Porter signed letters of commitment to John Deere’s PrairieLand Partners Technician Scholarship Program on March 28. The program provides a two-year full-ride scholarship to a select community college or vocational school, plus the cost of tools. Nelson and Porter earned the scholarship through employment at 21st Century Equipment in Holyoke. They plan to attend Southeast Community College at Milford, Nebraska, this fall.
