New JR/SR high teacher hired

Colbey Stumpf was hired last week for the Holyoke JR/SR High social studies teaching position that will open in January. Approval of his contract was given at the brief Oct. 15 school board meeting which preceded the board/administrator retreat.

Stumpf is currently completing his student teaching at Peetz High School and will graduate from the University of Northern Colorado in December with a degree in social studies with an emphasis in secondary education. He will apply after graduation for his probationary teacher license.

Stumpf is a Caliche High School graduate and has completed numerous education practicum experiences in middle and high schools throughout Greeley.

Stumpf will be assuming the position currently held this semester by Hannah Krening.
