NJC hosts trip to Portugal and Spain open to students and community

    Northeastern Junior College is hosting a nine-day, travel-abroad opportunity March 15-23, 2019. This trip is open to students, staff and community members, with registration running now through the end of November. The tour will visit the Spanish cities of Seville and Madrid, as well as Lisbon, Portugal, and other cities, for a well-organized, all-inclusive educational experience exploring the rich maritime, royal and religious history of the region.
    “We have a packed itinerary, so that means bring your walking shoes,” explains trip leader Will Ross, assistant professor of art at Northeastern. Trip participants will wander Lisbon’s Moorish labyrinth of streets, Seville’s impeccably preserved mosaics, and Madrid’s stunning architecture and views. Ross added, “Our tour strikes a balance between fast-paced guided education and plenty of free time to go exploring.”
