Preschool has new STEM projects thanks to donation

The local Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll Drive raised $350, which helped Dragon’s Wagon Preschool purchase Fairy Tale Problem Solving Kits. Students will be using science, technology, engineering and math to help their favorite characters solve a problem. Ashley Gragg, assistant director at the preschool, at left, and Marcia Walter, director, said the kits teach weight, balance, distance, measurements, structure, stability, quantities, counting, volume, strength, buoyancy, language, literacy and more.
