Robotics team 6th at NJC competition

The Holyoke JR/SR High School robotics team competed at the BEST robotics competition Saturday, Nov. 6, at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling. The team participated in the semifinals and finished in sixth place in the Golden Plains Hub. Holyoke participants are pictured from left, front row, Alma Alejandre, Ben Kleve and Jimena Nuñez; second row, coach Jimmy French, Leah Struckmeyer and Grace Whisenhunt; and back row, Tristen Ferguson, Simon Krueger and Tanner Hardesty. Ellie Kleve is also on the team but did not attend Saturday’s event.
