School board meeting changed to Wednesday

The second meeting in March for Holyoke School District Re-1J has been changed to Wednesday, March 22, in the board meeting room at HJHS, room No. 218.

A 6:15 p.m. work session for policies and budget discussion will be followed by the regular meeting at 7 p.m.

The superintendent’s report will include winter sports, salary schedule, update on School Finance Act, bid notification, Emerald Awards, Chartwell’s monthly report, gift acknowledgement and superintendent deliverables.

Action items on the agenda include approval of first reading on policies dealing with school board member conflict of interest, voting method, federal fiscal compliance, federal procurement, bidding procedures, expense authorization/reimbursement, staff ethics/conflict of interest and privacy/protection of confidential student information.
