School board retreat set for next Tuesday

    Instead of a regular meeting next Tuesday, Jan. 15, the Re-1J Board of Education will hold a retreat at 5 p.m. in the Ballyneal conference room.
    Superintendent/principal updates will kick off the retreat. Subjects include calendars, professional development days and late-start Mondays; attendance/tardy policies and procedures; and junior high concept.
    Financial updates include a master plan review, with a note that a work session with Neenan, GK Baum, Schneider will be held during the Feb. 5 board meeting.
