School board set to meet Tuesday, April 4

Holyoke School District Re-1J Board of Education will meet Tuesday, April 4, at 7 p.m. in the board meeting room at HJHS, room No. 218.

Topics in the superintendent’s report include parent-teacher conferences, Chamber of Commerce presentation, Every 15 Minutes recap, Safe Route to School grant, 1:1 conversations/topics and ideas.

Action items on the agenda include approval of new personnel, salary schedules for certified and classified staff, as well as second reading of eight policies — school board member conflict of interest, voting method, federal fiscal compliance, federal procurement, bidding procedures, expense authorization/reimbursement, staff ethics/conflict of interest, and privacy and protection of confidential student information.
