Seaboard to award $55K in 2019 scholarships

    Seaboard Foods is now accepting applications from the class of 2019 high school graduates to award $1,000 scholarships, totaling $55,000.
    Forty $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors from high schools in communities where Seaboard Foods has business operations. An additional 15 $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to children of Seaboard Foods, Seaboard Transport and High Plains Bioenergy employees.
    Students graduating with a high school diploma or equivalent in 2019 and who attend school in communities where Seaboard Foods has business operations are encouraged to complete an online scholarship application before the Feb. 1 deadline. Scholarships will be distributed to the recipients’ college of choice at the beginning of the 2019-2020 academic year.
