Shut down those laptops; school is officially out for the summer

The calendar listed the last day of school as Friday, May 22, but students had their laptops shut down earlier in the week as they concluded virtual learning for the 2019-20 school year. Families were assigned times Wednesday-Friday to return Chromebooks, library books and band instruments and to pick up anything they had left at the school. In a similar process to when they picked up Chromebooks to begin virtual learning at the end of March, school staff members were on hand last week to make the drive-by event go smoothly. Elementary school counselor Kathleen Kropp is pictured grabbing a stack of Chromebooks from one family’s vehicle. The seniors, who get to keep their Chromebooks, had them reprogrammed without restrictions last week.
