156 kids in Holyoke Soccer Program

This year, 156 kids, preschool-aged to seniors in high school, are participating in the Holyoke Soccer Program, coordinated by Summer Maloney. A total of 13 teams are led by 19 coaches, with Holyoke games on the schedule for each age group.

Preschool-kindergarten are divided into four teams, first- and second-grade have four teams, and third- and fourth-grade have three teams.

There is one team made up of fifth- through seventh-graders, and there is one high school team. Fifth-grade and up play games against teams from neighboring towns, while the younger age groups play each other.

Pre-K through fourth-grade teams played their first games Saturday, April 22, and have games every Saturday morning through May 20 from 8:30-11 a.m, all at the Holyoke High School practice field.

The fifth- through seventh-grade team has games scheduled for Saturdays, April 29 and May 6, at 10:30 a.m. at the HHS football field.
