1A football semifinals are Nov. 17

    Quarterfinals are finished, and Limon is still among the teams in the running for the Colorado 1A high school state football championship. On Saturday, Nov. 17, at 1 p.m., Limon will host Colorado Springs Christian and Centauri will host Strasburg for the semifinals. The winning teams will face off in the championship game Nov. 24.
    Last weekend’s quarterfinal games included a 42-8 Limon win over Meeker, a 13-10 Colorado Springs Christian win over Florence, a 42-0 Strasburg win over Burlington, and a 10-7 Centauri win over Peyton.
