Seven of Holyoke’s 12 team members chose to compete in Fort Collins with Liberty Common on Tuesday, March 2. Coach Aly Brinkema gave team members the choice of competing or staying home to continue training as they tapered for the championship conference meet Saturday.
Made up of mostly underclassmen, the small Holyoke team held its own and came home with several second-and third-place finishes and an exciting first by Summer Martin in the 50-yard freestyle.
