8 Dragons make All-State football list
All-State picks have been selected for Colorado 1A football, and Holyoke High School has eight athletes on the list following the team’s remarkable 11-1 season.
Dragons named to the first team were sophomores Aidyn Shafer and Miles Sprague. On the second team were seniors Slaten Burris, Blake Mosenteen and Seth Watson and junior Joey Beckner. Holyoke seniors Luis Chafino and Michael Ramos received honorable mention.
From the state champion Limon team, the 1A player of the year was Kory Tacha and the coach of the year was Mike O’Dwyer.
