Banquet wraps up girls basketball

    Holyoke High School girls basketball celebrated a successful season, which included a standout performance in the postseason and its second consecutive regional championship appearance, at its April 14 awards dinner.
    Players who lettered include seniors Savannah Burris and Kaylee Camblin; juniors Emily Jelden, Victoria Race, Sarah Razo, Taeryn Trumper and Shianne Willmon; sophomores Ashley Rahe and Taylor Trumper; and freshmen Lauren Herman, Correy Koellner and Kristin Vieselmeyer.
    All junior and senior letterwinners were also named  to the Colorado High School Activities Association’s Academic All-State First Team. The honor recognizes players who kept a 3.8 GPA or higher throughout the season.
