Baseball recognizes season’s athletes

    Members of the HHS baseball team were recognized for their season achievement at an awards program Tuesday, May 22. Announcing the honors was coach Sam Distefano.
    Letterwinners for the 2018 season were juniors Mauro Morales and Jesus Trejo, and sophomores Hunter Bergstrom, Slaten Burris, Luis Chafino, Caleb Deaver, Blake Mosenteen, Alexis Vega and Seth Watson.
    Participation awards went to junior Dylan Miles, sophomore Victor Baeza, and freshmen Isaiah Houghtelling and Jesse Vasa.
    Chafino and Deaver were recognized for participating in four sports during the 2017-18 school year. Awards for participation in three sports during the year were presented to Burris, Mosenteen, Trejo and Houghtelling.
