Baseball reigns locally as favored summer pastime
Last Friday, Holyoke hosted peewee, Little League and Babe Ruth baseball games against Oshkosh, Nebraska, and it was a full evening of summer fun for players and spectators alike. The three home teams are coached this year by Kody Timm and Dylan Miles through the City of Holyoke recreation department.
With regular-season games wrapping up June 19, the athletes will be preparing for the June 27-29 league tournament in Chappell, Nebraska, to finish out their summer season.
