Border League baseball tournaments June 27-29

    Tournaments for the Border League peewee, Little League and Babe Ruth teams are Thursday-Saturday, June 27-29. All games will be played in Chappell, Nebraska. Communities represented include Holyoke, Chappell, Sedgwick County, Haxtun and Oshkosh, Nebraska.
    In peewee action, Holyoke plays Oshkosh on Thursday at 2 p.m. The winner of that game will play Chappell on Friday at 3:30 p.m. Also on Friday, Sedgwick County plays Haxtun Red at 10 a.m. The winner of the Friday games will advance to Saturday’s championship game at 3:30 p.m. The losers of Friday’s games will play for third place Saturday at 10 a.m.
