Brenden Kage signs with Chadron State College

On a day already busy with school and baseball, student athlete Brenden Kage took a moment Tuesday, April 25, to celebrate with his parents, Sherman and Christy Kage, and coaches when he signed a letter of intent to play football for Chadron State College next year. His mother, Katisha Klein, was unable to attend the Tuesday signing.

Coached by John Zilla, Nic Balog and Cody Jiru, Kage played football for Holyoke High School for four years. In high school he played wide receiver and quarterback, and he plans to be playing one of those two positions when he goes on to play college ball as well.

As a junior, Kage received All Conference honorable mention. As a senior, he made All Conference, and his team recognized him as the offensive player of the year.

While attending the Chadron, Nebraska, college, he intends to study sports medicine.
